Moving cats overseas

Do you need to move your cat overseas? Or maybe you are returning to South Africa and need to fly you cat home? You will need to find a good Animal travel Agency – a company that has a proven track record.

Flying a cat overseas is not as simple as you may think. You will need a wooden cat box to transport the cat in. You will need to inoculate your cat and you might have to put your cat into quarantine depending on which country you are planning to fly your pet to. If your cat needs to be in quarantine you will need a good boarding kennel to take care of your cat – best to find a boarding kennel that is a member of the Pet Boarding Association. You will then know that your cat is in good hands. Each country has it’s own specific regulations in regard to the importing of pets. When you export your cat (what a dry term) you will need the cat to clear all customs on both sides. A good cat travel company will handle all the documentation, cat permits and paperwork for you. All you should have to do is have your cat ready for collection and say your sad goodbye while we organise your cat transport. (by the way moving any pet whether pekingese or goldfish, needs the same proccedure)
